🦺Abatement in Action @ Queens College
August 28, 2025
Today's field work feature comes from Rob Gardner, based in our Brooklyn office. Rob serves as a Senior Environmental Manager on our Regulated Building Materials team.
He was onsite at Queens College for a window replacement project at Maragaret Kiely Hall. Prior to the work, surveys were performed to determine the amount and locations of asbestos containing materials, PCB sealants, universal/hazardous waste and visible mold. As you can see from the pictures, this project kept him busy! (You can check out more photos on our social feeds.)
Queens College has a fascinating history, and Kiely Hall was named after Maragaret Kiely, the Colleges' first dean of faculty.
In related news, our Brooklyn office has a couple openings: https://watts-ae.com/about/careers/
