Field Work Spotlight: Construction Inspection

Today's field work spotlight comes from our Transportation Team and showcases some fresh roadwork! This summer, Inho Chung, one of Watts' Construction Inspectors, kept busy with a handful of projects (check out our previous Hunt Street Bridge Re-opening post).

Inho shared some photos on-site from various locations around Buffalo as part of our work for City of Buffalo's Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) term. The work entails milling, concrete pour for sidewalks & ramps, and granite curb installation. Part of Inho’s day included oversight of the contractors and monitoring them in accordance with the project’s specs and plans, making changes or requesting revisions to the scope, and overall making sure the project is carried out accordingly. For this particular project, Inho went between 12 project locations and kept records of progress. The residents in the area are looking forward to the completion of this work! Nicely done, Inho!   ⁠
