Niagara Street Project Wins ACEC Platinum Award

Watts was awarded a Platinum Award in the transportation category from American Council of Engineering Companies of New York for our Niagara Street Rehabilitation & Reconfiguration Project. The awards gala was held this past weekend in New York City, and Watts was able to participate in the 56th annual event! Phillip Galbo, PE and Jessica Ross, PE, represented Watts for the ceremonies.

Over 650 guests were in attendance to honor award-winning projects in 11 different categories. ACEC NY also awarded over $100,000 in scholarships to engineering students! New York Congressman Paul D. Tonko, an engineer, and Marcus Molinaro, a Transportation & Infrastructure Committee member, emceed the event. Dozens of federal agency reps, New York State and City officials, public authorities, and commissioners were also in attendance.

Congrats again on an excellent job by Watts’ Team Niagara! It was a joyous occasion celebrating the best of the best in engineering projects from across the Empire state!
