#WattsAtWork @ NYS Capitol Building
August 27, 2025
This stunning view is brought to you by Bill Coyle from the Regulated Building Materials division at Watts. Bill was on location in New York State's Capitol Building. Watts was conducting a regulated building materials survey for a chairlift replacement in the Senate Chambers, and a wheelchair lift in the building's basement.
Did you know that the construction of the Capitol Building took 32 years? One of the architecture teams was led by Henry Hobson (H.H.) Richardson, who also designed the Richardson Olmsted Complex in Buffalo.
We're always excited about our unique field work locations but this one felt a little more prestigious than usual
