About Us

Edward O. Watts, Sr., PE, started a one-man environmental engineering consulting firm in 1986 with the founding principles based on providing the highest ethical standards, professionalism, and excellence in all we do.

Since then, a lot has changed (check out our timeline). Watts evolved from a one-man consultant into a leading interdisciplinary team of architects, engineers, and environmental professionals. With the capability and depth to take on projects across New York State. 

Ed Sr. always believed our people were our greatest asset. This was one of his founding philosophies that holds true today. Every member of our team leads from their individual experience because a unique mix of minds makes us work. Together, that’s how we each reach our fullest potential and a complete understanding of one another and, in turn, the people we serve. We work hand in hand with each of our clients to realize enduring designs and plan trustworthy foundations—to create space for what matters.

Today, the Watts team is headed by our founder’s son, Ed Jr., AIA, and collaboratively led by a diverse and accomplished group of architects and engineers. As one of New York State's largest minority owned and minority-led, architecture & engineering firms, every member of our team leads from their individual experience, and that unique mix of perspectives makes our work work harder for you and the community you serve.
