Linda J. Butcher

Linda has been an integral part of Watts’s Accounting Team since 2013, bringing nearly two decades of accounting expertise from the mechanical contracting field. As Senior Project Accountant, Linda plays a pivotal role in ensuring the financial health of our projects and the firm. She oversees the coordination of project billing and compliance activities, managing critical administrative functions like state project compliance reporting, salary rosters, cost proposals, and maintaining accurate billing schedules.

Linda takes on the meticulous work of billing and compliance for all of Watts’ transportation projects. These are often extremely complex, with invoices that can span hundreds of pages. Thanks to Linda’s unmatched attention to detail she gets them taken care of, keeping our clients happy. On any given two-week pay period end we have upwards of 400 projects with un-billed time and expense. Linda's ability to organize, prioritize, and deliver results is nothing short of remarkable.

Outside of work, Linda spends her time with her family and fur family. When she's not helping problem-solve and supporting others, she also enjoys DIY home improvement projects, gardening, and walking her dog.
